Smaug the Magnificent receives the Headliner treatment in The Hobbit with a special Gleaming Gold version illustrated by noted Tolkien illustrator Ted Nasmith. There are approximately 500 Gleaming Gold Smaug the Magnificent Headliner cards printed. This version appears only in Collector Boosters of any language, but the card is always printed in English.
